Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of improving the quality of evaluation outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which continues to face challenges in implementing effective instructional strategies. Active learning is considered a strategic approach to enhance student engagement and strengthen conceptual understanding of religious subjects. This research aims to conceptually analyze active learning strategies in PAI and their relevance in improving the quality of learning evaluation outcomes. The study employs a library research method by examining various sources, including books, scholarly journals, and relevant previous studies. Data were analyzed using content analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and implementation of active learning in PAI. The findings indicate that active learning strategies, such as discussions, problem-based learning, and collaborative learning, theoretically contribute significantly to improving evaluation outcomes by strengthening cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Therefore, the theoretical foundation of active learning strategies serves as an essential basis for enhancing the overall quality of Islamic
